Historical Data Manager is ok
tried using the Historical Data Manager to get data, it works but setting it up was a bit confusing. wish the instructions were clearer for downloading historical data. the price was pretty good though, especially with the one-time purchase for updates.

got a decent deal using a promo code i found here, which was awesome. the Custom Timeframe Generator is super useful for backtesting strategies, makes a big difference compared to just using standard timeframes. updates are free with the one-time purchase, which is great value. my main gripe is it still doesn't run natively on mac, gotta jump through hoops with parallels or bootcamp just like with metatrader. for the price, would love to see that fixed.
